Default Gremlin on VBA help

In the vba editor if I highlight a legitimate VBA keywork and hit f1, goes to
the help information without a problem.

If I don't highlight anything or highligh something that is not a keyword,
it goes to the help index tab. When I type in a word, all the available help
topics appear below.

Now here is the weird thing, when I then click on the desired help topic,
its starts running the Windows Installer and then sometime asks me to put in
a cd to configure Widows XP and other times asks me to put in a disk to
configure MS Project Standard.

If I cancel out, the selected help topic appears without a problem.

I have tried a "repair" reinstall several times but that doesn't fix the
glitch.

Any suggestions of how I can fix.
