I created a square using the rectangle tool and then dropped it on the Legend shape and the square became an entry in the legend. Though the legend does have a help file, it does not contain a description of this feature. One thing I miss from the Visio 3 days, is the little books that explained what stencils were available and how to use them. John... Make sure that the shapes not appearing in the legend are 2-D shapes. The
legend will ignore 1-D shapes. -- Mike Mueller WinFX SDK Team This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. "PKT" wrote in message ...
