Default Custom Styles not showing up as TOC options

I have built a fairly complex doc using custom styles. I
have been trying to build a TOC to reflect the various
headers etc. The custom styles are not showing up in the
tool to build the TOC. What am I missing?

For a second I thought I had duplicated your problem - but now I cannot.

So, just for grins and giggles, I'm going to ask (since this is what I did):
Did you select a TOC format other than "From Template"? It happened too
quickly for me to be sure, but it seemed as if once I selected a different
format ("Classic" for instance), I could click the Options button and see my
custom styles, whereas before I'd swear the custom styles weren't there!
