Add custom template to drawing type category section onstart-up sc
I would like to add a template I created to one of the categories in the
drawing type section that appears when visio is started up. Is this possible? I am using Visio 2003. TIA. Regards, Antje Crawford

Find the "My Shapes" folder in "My Documents", add a new folder under "My Shapes" with the required category name and put your template file in here. (the name can duplicate an existing Visio category) Now go to Visio menu Tools - Options - Advanced and select the File Paths button In te Templates section, add the path to the "My Shapes" folder.
