Default Access 2007 Navigation Bar and all menu bars.

On an Access 2007 form how can I get rid of all the bars for my users will
have no chance to touch the database?

Dave,

Navigation bars are a settable property of the form, as is the MenuBar
property. When the latter is non-blank, the form uses the custom menu rather
than the default Access one.

You should be aware, however, that these steps will not fully protect your
database. Other steps to secure your database include:

- Setting the AllowBypassKey property to False to prevent your users from
getting to the database window by pressing the Shift key during load
- Password-protecting your code or creating an .mde file that removes the
source code entirely
- Implementing user-level security

It is a complex topic, and tricky to implement, and worthy of study before
trying it on a backup copy of your database. You should also know that even
after taking these steps, Access was not designed as a fully secure database.
Hackers with low-level system tools can still compromise your data.
