Default Quirky Record

I have a client using an Access 2002 front end and back end. A certain
record wasn't showing up in several reports. He sent me the back end (I have
the same front on my machine), and I ran the reports using Access 2000, and
the record showed up. I then notified him, he tried again in Access 2002,
and the record still didn't show up. He then edited a field in the record,
saved the record, and opened the reports again, and then the record showed
up.

Anyway idea as to why the record didn't show up on his end until he
re-edited the record, but it showed up on my end right away?

Thanks!

Neil

Hi Neil,

For data issues that behave differently on one machine versus another you
want compare the versions of the Microsoft JET Database Engine. Take a
look at the file version number of the file "MsJET40.dll"

For details on the getting the updated version of JET see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;239114

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
