A clearer question will probably get a clearer answer, but...

guessing that you have a Number field in your table, a criterion of

100


will find all records where that number field is larger than 100 (i.e. 101,
310, 2212341254 will be retrieved; 1, 99, and 100 will not.

will find all records where the number is less than 100.
