Default how dod I NOT select multiple cells at the same time

in some of my worksheets, when i use the mouse to select 1 cell I end up
highlighting 4 cells everytime. What setting do I need to change so that
only the cell I click on gets selected.

Hi,

I posted the same quesiton today and here is a different reply that I got
that also works:


Hello again. You were right. Every time extra cells were selected, I flicked
the zoom and the problem went away. Too bad you have to do it every time but
it is an excellent short term solution. Thanks so much for suggesting it.
