Default need advice on setting record locking

Hello,
I have a BE with many FEs (one for each user) and user level security in
place. Previously, only one person has entered data into a certain table.
Now it looks like we will need to have more than one person entering data
into the same table (again through their own seperate FE). I know that
Access should be able to hand this just fine, but I am looking for advice on
what level of record locking to pick (no locks, all records, edited record -
I currently have no locks selected). Also, how is that related to the check
box below 'Open database using record-level locking', which is currently
checked in the backend. Is this box something that needs to be set on every
machine, or does it go with the database.

thanks for any help you can give.

IF all you are doing is adding data from two different front ends, if
you set the form to Data Entry, then you only should not have locking
or contention problems.
