Default Creating table in design view

in the design view, the description field for each field, whatever is typed
into this this row is supposed to appear on the status bar while entering
data in the Datasheet view and Form view. In teaching this 2007 Access in a
classroom of 20 computers, it appears on some but not all. Is there an
option to turn this feature on? If so, where do I find it?

Default Creating table in design view

See my response in your duplicate post in m.p.a.GettingStarted.
If you need to post to more than one group, include both groups in the
TO: of your post. That way, if someone answers in GettingStarted, that
response can be seen in TableDesign as well. Otherwise, it creates a
duplication of effort...
