Default Data Type in Design View

My office installed MS Access 2007 recently. I have designed a contact
database and have a simple table. I want to add an attachment. I went through
MS Access 2007 tutorial and understand that in a Table/ Design View/ Data
Type - I can select Attachment . Then go to the form and add an attachment
using Paper Clip Icon. For some reason, when I go to Data Type, I cannot see
Attachment, I can see the rest - Hyperlink, Look up wizard, Date and Time,
Yes/No, Memo etc.

Please help.

Hi Deeds,

could it be you opened a database with Access 2007 in Access 2003 format?
Then you have to convert it first (just open the database and use save as and
choose an Access 2007 format) and then continue with the new features from
there.

Hi NG,

Thank you so much. It worked. I was opening it in a Access 2003 format.
Appreciate the prompt response.
