Website Integration
I need someone to point me in the right direction.
I have an Access database that I created that is working perfectly. Now, I need to be able to integrate the database with a website, and require some direction and/or guidance. The database is simple: One table that contains contact information, one form to update the information, one query to search for a contact record, and two reports to display the data. What I need to do is this: I need a way for someone to be able to perform a search for a contact by using an HTML or XHTML web-page on our website. It would be an adidtional bonus if it is possible to make changes to the record as well. Can I do this with Access 2007 or do I need to have a 3rd party application in between? Other information that may help answer this question: The website is hosted on GoDaddy. The person that will need to perform the lookups and make changes (if possible), will be using IE8 on a Windows 7 computer. Thank you in advance for all replies. --Brian |

Though not released yet, you can download a beta to test he http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010...s/default.aspx The Access team blog will give you more info about the new version: http://blogs.msdn.com/access/ Search for "Web Form" -- Allen Browne - Microsoft MVP.
