Default How enter contacts w/out them automatically being marked private

Everytime I enter a new contact and save it in Outlook, when I reopen it the
box on the lower right corner that says "private" is checked. I have to
manually uncheck it. How do I set the system to only marke private when I
want it too?

Outlook has no such setting. Tell us the rest of the story: Outlook version,
information store, Add-ins, etc.
