Default sharing vista's windows contacts with outlook 2007

With outlook 2003, you should use the personal address book (pab) and
set it to be the default. In vista, the pab has been upgraded to
windows contacts, however, i dont see how to sync it in with outlook.
I only see how to sync the old personal address book which no longer
exists on thsi machine.

what am i not doing right?

Outlook has not used a PAB for nearly a decade. After years of warning us it
would happen, PAB's are no longer supported in Outlook 2007. You have been
warned to migrate to your PAB to a Contacts Folder for years.
Your post is confusing. Vista is not in play here, nor are Windows Contacts.
What made you think they were?

Russ,

Outlook is considered by many to be the standard in personal
information management, certainly including contacts.
Why would Microsoft consider you an "MVP" with this kind of response?

Impossible to know what your beef is since you have incompletely quoted a
post in a thread that is long dead in my news reader. Did you have a
question of some sort?

I have Outlook 2007 with ALL of my contacts in it. I have this Windows
Vista sidebar gadget that I would like to use with my Outlook
Contacts. In other words, in my Vista Sidebar Contacts tool, can it
display the contacts from Outlook?

Thanks,
Ryan

AFAIK, the one provided natively with Vista cannot. One that displays
Outlook was supposed to have been added to the gallery, but the link to it
seems to be dead.
