Default which code page does contacts store?

I have set-up an ldap server, and can get contacts information from this ldap
server.
Now, I am a Chinese, I want to store name, address etc. in Chinese, not in
English, when I use my http server with php scripts(I download ldapContact
from sf.net) to save these information in chinese, I can read out these
chinese correctly from the php scripts, but when I use outlook's contacts to
read/find, the un-recogenized come out. I know it maybe codepage problem,
but I don't know what codepage dose microsoft outlook contacts use? anyone
who knows please tell me, thank you~~~
