Default Office 2007 sharing limitation

Any chance that the Office 2007 release has fixed the sharing limitation on
multiple users accesing the same address book without Exchange?

What limitation is that? No version of Outlook has any address book sharing at all. What can be shared with Exchange is individual contacts folders, not the address book. Outlook 2007 can also provide access to a SharePoint 2007 contacts list.

Default Office 2007 sharing limitation

Hi Sue

Thank you for you reply. Let me try and explain what I requi

I have three people in the office that runs one combined diary system for
ten people.

In the past this whole system was done by hand. We have just upgraded to
Office 2007 and if we can use the Calendar therein it will would be perfect,
but everyone will need to be able to work on the same calendar at the same
time.

At the moment we do not have a server and only use a peer to peer, router
based, network.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Anton

Now I'm really confused. What does this have to do with your original question on sharing address books?

In any case, regarding calendar sharing, the Microsoft Office Online service offers calendar sharing; see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...100776881033#5

And there are the tools listed at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm#tools
