Default Can't "accept" calendar events that I invite myself to

I work from both a home PC and a laptop. I want to schedule Calendar events
and invite myself from the home computer, and then "accept" the invitation
from the second computer, so that the Calendar event is entered into the
second calendar. However, when I open my invite on computer #2, the "accept"
button is grayed, so I cannot accept and have the info automatically entered.
What can I do to make this work?

Thanks!

Can you drag the calendar item to your home Outlook calendar?
