for open shape,area & perimeter doesn't work, Visio 2003 Pro
I tried getting the distance of a perimeter using a open shape, the area and
peremiter dialog box doesn't give me a distance, it only works with a closed shape, visio 2002 works well, just by drawing a line it gives you a distance, does visio 2003 have this feature.

This is a bug in Visio 2003, so unfortunately you are limited to closed
