Default How do I delete a contact from all lists, globally?

When I delete a contact from my "Contacts" database in Outlook, it is still
included in distribution lists. 1) WHY?? and 2) HOW DO I CHANGE THIS?
(me? irritated? of course... not.) Thanks for any help you may have. Chuck

DL's have an "Update Now" button. Have you tried that? It doesn't work for
most people, but you may be among the lucky few.

Because there's no connection from a member of a DL back to the original
contact record.

The last 48 digits of the EntryID of a distlist member represents the
EntryID of the contact item.

Best regards

Thank you, all for trying to help me with this. Sounds like "put up with it"
or hammer M/S to make changes.
