Can Contacts be dialed from Outlook over a DSL line? The modem d.
I am setting up a DSL line with external modem. When I try to use the auto
dial feature of MS Contacts, I hear the modem dialing from the computer but when I pick up the connected phone, I still have a dial tone. Apparently, the phone and modem are not properly configured. Any ideas? One help text message indicated that I must use a standard 56k modem. Is this correct? |

You're not really asking an Outlook question. Outlook has no role in this.
Outlook uses the Windows dialer which of course must have access to an analog phone line. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Rick" wrote in message ... I am setting up a DSL line with external modem.
