Default Outlook XP: Calendar items not importing from PST file properly

My user has a pst file that she was using for all her mail and calendar items, and now we attempted to import all the information into her mailbox on our Exchange server.

The import runs (we selected "allow duplicates to be created"), and appears to be successful, as all the overdue reminders pop up, but the actual items they refer to do not appear in the Calendar. All the Calendar days are empty, but the reminders keep appearing (even after we close the pst file, so it's not still coming from that calendar), and the days are all bolded on the mini calendar at the right, as though there were items there.

Well it turned out it was a View within ToolsOrganize.

The view was set on "day/week/month" which should show the items anyway, but
didn't. Switching the view to "day/week/month view with AutoPreview" made the
entries finally appear.
