Default clicked "replace with an exisiting document and lost project

Would love to find out how to retrieve the original document. In error I
clicked "replace with an existing document and lost project.

If you didn't save a copy of the original document elsewhere, then it's
gone. Any chance you emailed to someone before overwriting it?
