Problem with appointment coloring in Outlook 2007 with CRM 4
Hi,
We use Microsoft Outlook 2007 and Microsoft CRM 4 and, the problem is when we track an appoinment in CRM, CRM clears all my manual color categories and adds the "[CRM] Regarding: ...case..." category... So is it possible to change the precedence with automatic coloring over manual coloring (with categories) or is it possible to turn off the CRM category somehow without affecting CRM's tracking function? -- With kind regards, Kurt-E. I have tried to use the automatic formatting in Outlook 2007 but only a few if any of the appointments will become colored. An example of my usual appointment has "1 Smith" in the Subject space. When I do the auto formatting, I click add and choose a name and color. I then click condition and in the Appointment Page put "Smith" in the Search for the word: field and then choose "Subject field only" for the In: Field. The calendar does go back for several years and is updated monthly. There are at least 2 appointments like the above for each day. No other times or information is included in the appointment. Am I missing something or has something changed in 2007. I also removed all the colors associated with categories so that would not interfere. |
