What printer? Are you talking about printer banding? Inkjet? Head clean? Set printer for higher quality print. lotsa guesses

Like wioth lines, there thin light lines going through everything. My printer

Most Epson printers have utilities that will clean your print head. Sounds like you
have a clogged black cartridge. I suspect the issue is not a Publisher issue, but a printer issue.

I read on a printer forum you can put clogged cartridges in boiling water for awhile
and they will become unclogged.
