Pipe symbol displaying in sent signatures

When viewing e-mails in Outlook 2007, we are seeing a pipe | symbol to the
left margin on some lines of a received signature. This only seems to be seen
on Outlook 2007, and the users sending are on 2003. I've seen 2 so far that
show the symbol on different lines. One had it on almost every line. I've
gone to the users in question to troubleshoot this on their end, tried to
edit the signature, did not see anything funny. Re-created it, and it is
still there. Any ideas what this could be? I would post an example but I
don't see how to attach pics sorry. Any suggestions much appreciated thanks!

They're not using blockquote in their sig file, are they?
