how does on 'lock' a heading row so that it stays in place while scrolling?
I tried a help search on everything and can't find this. Maybe theres' a

If you put your cursor on it it will turn into two paralell lines. Just drag this down to the row or rows you want to freeze. there is also one at the right side of the bar that displays the tabs. Easier way is to select the row below the bottom one you want to lock, go to

Nope you still get the Split effect not a Freeze effect

Splitting the screen allows you to scroll in both portions of the screen while freezing simply locks the selected rows or columns. For some reason I've always thought they did the same thing so I always just used the split effect. Which I thought was easier :-) gls858 |
