Default Copying data to new spreadsheet.

Working in Excel 97

Have a spreadsheet with several workbooks in it. (approx
40)

I need to copy the information from the tallying
spreadsheet to a separate - unrelated one. (the file
location of the original data is not accessible to people
who will be viewing this new spreadsheet so it can't be
linked

I have tried Copy/Paste Special/Format to set the format
of the new page then another Copy/Paste Special/Values to
get the values to copy. Unfornuately this does not seem
to work. I have also tried to copy into Word but because
of the size of the page, not all the fields are copied.

An Edit/Copy Sheet also does not work as that moves linked
data.

Please help me!

Default Copying data to new spreadsheet.

Would this work for you:
Hold down SHIFT; open Edit menu and use Copy Picture (experiment with As
Displayed and As Printed)
Move to Word and Paste. Resize/reposition graphic as needed.
You now have a picture of the Excel worksheet - no one can change anything.

Best wishes
