Not an option. Masking of phone numbers in Outlook is hard coded and cannot
be changed. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Harsh" wrote in message ... we have 10 digit mobile number when i type for eg 9860096234 the it gets automatically in the bracket format (986) 009-6234 i want the simple number without the brackets how should i do it |

remove the brackets from the phone field
preface the number with a character: x2125551212 or _2125551212 - a period
will not work as Outlook sees it as a number separator. Note that Outlook won't be able to dial it. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Harsh" wrote in message ... we have 10 digit mobile number when i type for eg 9860096234 the it gets automatically in the bracket format (986) 009-6234 i want the simple number without the brackets how should i do it |
