Hello everyone,

I need to know if it is possible to index a combination of
fields in a table. For example: [Date] & [Shift]

Yes you can. In the Index dialog box (within Table
Design), enter the name of the index (e.g.DateShift),
select the first column (e.g.Date) and the sort order
(e.g.Ascending). Also complete the boxes describing
whether the Index is the Primary index etc. Then on the
next line, select the second column(e.g. Shift) and the
sort order.
