Default Outlook 2003 with Multiple Account

In Outlook 2003, we have two e-mail accounts set up, each
with their own signature.

If we create a new email, then switch to the non-default
account, the signature is NOT changed. We are using the
Outlook editor.

If we change to using Word 2003 as the email editor, then
this does work, but why doesn't it work for the Outlook
editor? Can we make it work?

We have had some issues with using Word as the email
editor, hence the desire to stick to the Outlook editor.

It doesn't work in the Outlook editor because the feature is dependent upon
a Word style being applied to the signature area and the Outlook editor
doesn't support Word styles.
