Default Outlook will not load says set of folders cannot be opened - help

I have just installed Windows 2003 - student and teacher version. All
programmes work except Outlook.
Two error messages - The connection to Microsoft Exchange server is not
available.
When I am on the internet the error message is Cannot start Microsoft Office
Outlook.Unable to open the Outlook Window. The set of folders could not be

I had a similar problem. I tried everything but none worked=AD.
However,
I was able to solve the problem using the following approach=AD. I
created a similar user account on a different computer with =ADthe same
rights and installed Outlook 2003 on it without a problem. =ADI then
went
back to the problem computer and deleted all the files in
drive:\Documents and Settings\user name\local settings\Appli=ADcation
data\Mcrosoft\Outlook and replaced them with files copied fr=ADom the
same
folder on the newly created account on the other computer.
I hope this works for you.
