Default picture manager - incorrect time for photo taken in camera propert

When I look at picture properties in Microsoft Office Picture Manager the
"date taken" info in camera propertiies is wrong. The time displayed in
'date taken" seems to be consistently 8 hours earlier than the correct time.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Thanks for your reply, but Im not sure what you mean. The date time
properties are set for my correct time zone. Any other program I use to
display photo properties shows the correct time the picture was taken.

??

The only reason I can see for an 8 hour diference would be if something was
working in GMT (base time) and something else was set to US time.
I think you need to check the time zone settings on the camera and PC, one
of them may not be using a time zone while the other is.

Thanks again,
Your answer makes sense but so far I haven't found a solution. The camera
doesn't have a time zone setting so it's as if MS Picture Manager is assuming
that time is GMT. The PC is on PST in the time/date settings in control
panel & in options in MS Outlook. Every other program I have that displays
picture properties is able to show the correct time taken. I haven't seen an
option to address time zone in Picture Manager.

Hi Bob,

There's a bug for the value shown in MS Office 2003
Picture Manager in the Camera Properties=More
section of the Office 2003 Picture Manager Properties Taskpane.

There isn't a fix for it at present.

Thanks Bob,
I'll stop trying to fix it on my own now.
