delete additional mailbox from folder list

My mailbox appears twice in my folder list and I do not have the option of
deleting it. How can I get rid of the second occurrence?

so please delete the additional by go into the control panel mail
datafiles
there you can delete the unused personal folder !

Thank you for the suggestion, I had already performed this step and found
that if I deleted the mailbox it deleted my mailbox. Scenario - I opened
outlook and my own mailbox was listed twice. Ran ost repair and there was
corruption. Tried it again and 2 mailboxes appeared for me. Looked at the
store and there was only one instance of my mailbox. So where was the other
one coming from?
It was a duplication of my mailbox. They both contained the same data.
Deleting them and starting over did noo good either. I uninstalled outlook -
wiped out my outlook files and tried to start fresh. But when I added my
mailbox - there they were again.
I finally ran the Fdiskformatreinstall and when I added the outlook
mailbox back there was only one mailbox. So there was something on the hard
drive that was corrupt which created 2 mailboxes for me. If anyone has seen
this I would really love a solution to file away. Thank you
