Default database Inputs from WAN???

I apparently fell short on my research when i started this project,, i have
spent all winter working on this Access database that works well on our LAN
and i was hoping to either VPN or link some sharedpoint tables to two crews
in the field both are painfully slow.. one form takes nearly 15min to load
and another 7min to close.. we have what i feel should be a simple task..
we have two teams of 3 people where we need to track Times worked, Miles
driven, and Overnight costs, the team leader enters the times so there will
only be two users outside the office entering a max of about 10 records a
day. and print a report for the days entries. since the .mdb seems to be a
failure where should i turn?? I think we have some space with a yahoo
website. can we somehow web base something?? any help or direction is
desperately needed..

Thanks
Barry

Have them use Windows Terminal Server to get into a server machine at
the office, and they are essentially running a session on that machine
and only the screen refreshes travel the wire. That should be fast
enough for most connection types. Your IT support person will know how
to configure Terminal Services. It ships in the box with any
server-class Windows operating system.

Small tables with a few records should work quite well over a wan, even with
a limited connection. This is especially so with SharePoint and access
2007....

any help or direction is
desperately needed..

I outline solutions to this problem in the following article:
