Default $ needs to go away

I got a report that already has the $______
My field is currency and diplays $500.00 which is perfect except I dont need
both $ signs
If I dont use the field the $ still must be there for the contract to be
valid so I need it changed on the control that 500.00 id transparently
placed over the $_______

Thanks
Dan

Then leave the literal "$" and change the formatting of the field to
numbers, instead of currency.

Of, change the whole thing to be an "if" statement that will either print
the value formatted as currency, or will print the literal "$ ________".

Choose something other than the Currency format. You can
always use a custom format if you can't find a named format
that does what you want.

=" I got a report that already has the $ " & Format([YourField],
"#,##.##")

or

= "I got a ..... " & Format([Yourfield],#,#0.00")
whichever suits you.
