outlook 2002 with me. when i click on outlook it opens
briefly and closes down. pllease help. thanks

Right click My Computer and choose Manage. Check the Application log

Yep, I would start by making sure you're up to date; there is a Service Pack
3 already for Office
http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate

Also do a Windows Update
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

If it still fails try the troubleshooting steps posted here;
