I am trying to create a database where the form has a deadlie and I want it
to come up automatically when that deadline is over. For example, I sent out
lunch invitations for some company. i inputted those companies in my database
file. I want to follow up with them in a couple of days to make sure they are
coming. I want the form to come up automatically when I need to follow up
with them.

not to discourage you from using Access, but...do you have MS Outlook as
your email program? it's easy enough to set reminders in Outlook, rather
than inventing a whole new wheel.
