What is the maximum length of Subject line in Outlook?
What's the longest you can use?
The RFC for this topic says 998 total characters, max of 78 per line. I don't believe all email clients support multiline subjects, so 78 characters is the practical limit to support the widest number of mail clients. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Author, Google and Other Search Engines (Visual QuickStart Guide) Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Join OneNote Tips mailing list: http://www.onenote-tips.net/ "C So" C wrote in message ...
