Ms Access VB Error
Hi Debbie,
CAUSE The procedure was created on a computer that has Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) version 2.6 installed, and you are running it on computer that has MDAC version 2.5 installed. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, on the computer that has MDAC 2.5 installed, click to clear the Microsoft Jet and Replication Objects 2.6 Library check box, and then add a reference to the Microsoft Jet and Replication Objects 2.5 Library. To do so, follow these steps: Open the Visual Basic Environment (VBE). On the Tools menu, click References. At this point, you receive the following error message: Your Microsoft Access Database or project contains a missing or broken reference to the file 'msjro.dll' version 2.6. Click OK. Click to clear the item in the References list that appears as, "MISSING: Microsoft Jet and Replication Objects 2.6 Library." Click OK. On the Tools menu, click References. In the list of available references, click to select the Microsoft Jet and Replication Objects 2.5 Library check box, and then click OK. Debbie,
It sounds like you've got Reference problems. See Doug Steele's page on refererences: http://members.rogers.com/douglas.j....nceErrors.html Allen Browne's refs page: http://members.iinet.net.au/~allenbrowne/ser-38.html And finally Tony Toews refs page: http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/referencetroubles.htm Good luck. -- Nick Coe (UK) www.alphacos.co.uk --- "Debbie" wrote in message ... When opening the database the error immediately appears,. The only way to open tools is to say okay to the error. But the references is not lit up. Although it works on other DB's. When the DB 1st opens on the switchboard is where it stops on the error. I knew I had a refernce issue but it is not hot so I can't fix it.

Under tools references is not hot, I can't access it. Although it does work in other DB's on the PC. Is their any way around this so I can fix the reference issue?
