Default Developer Tab missing in Access 2007

Thanks for your time and for the other information. It will help with
workarounds.

You don't understand. I'm not crazy and I'm not blind. I enabled it in
Access
throught the options under popular. (On ten PCs). We have been using it. I
have been using it. 10 People are unable to do their job the same without
it.
It was there, I swear to God! It was there! Why is the ribbon tab gone and
the option not visible. Are you with Miscrosoft?

No, I am not with Microsoft...I am a regular user of access like you....

The only thing that I know that goes away is some of the Macro options
depending on your security.

This is noted he

Access 2007 does not have a developer tab.

The Access Developer Extensions are an optional download. Up to 2003,
they were a paid-for product (and not at all cheap) but for 2007 they
are free.

I don't think I'd want your answer if you did. Obviously you don't know a
whole lot about developing in Access 2007.

THIS IS NUTS
Why are the M$ people talking like there was never a Developer tab in Access
2007. I've been using it up to about a week ago. It disappeared and I can't
get a straight answer out of anyone. I don't think half of the MVP even use
access enough to know it's missing. What gives!!! Is it going to come back???
I was using the heck out of it and all the text books I have (NEW) refer to
the buttoms on that tab.
SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER!!!

Is that showing up as a Developer tab on the ribbon, in which case the
help file is right part of the time? Or is it just a separate dialog off
the Office button?
ah...ok.... (no after installing the developer tools, you get a separate new
entry after you hit the office button, not something on the ribbon....

I think you may not be aware that the people who give their time in this
forum to solve your problems do so entirely voluntarily, and as the MVPs
are recognised experts the time that they give is correspondingly that
much more valuable. So, questioning their knowledge and SHOUTING ABOUT
IT is probably going to bring you responses from only the most patient
and forgiving of contributors, and that would certainly rule me out.

Noone here owes you an answer, and noone here works for Microsoft. All
volunteers. Read your posts again in that light.

Phil
