How can I export the "Created" date field in contacts?
In Outlook 2002/Contacts, I right-clicked on the column names add added the
"Created" and "Modified" date fields, which now display with each contact. I now want to export by Contacts file, with these fields included. When I get to the Map Fields part of the Export process, these fields are not available for selection. Is there a way that I can export them directly from Outlook? If not, I found an add-on shareware program that claims to be able to do this. Thanks. |

How can I export the "Created" date field in contacts?
Create and LastMod date fields (among a host of others) are not part of the
Outlook (any version) export map field group. Aside from writing your own code, a 3rd party solution is your only option. Depending on the number of fields you want to capture combined with the number of contacts - an alternative approach is to create a view with the requisite fields and do a cut 'n paste into Excel but wouldn't suggest this approach for a lot of fields and/or a lot of contacts.
