Default e-mail addresses two address books with same name appear

I am running Outlook 2003.

I have several address books under contacts. When I go to choose an address
book when I am in the To box in an e-mail, some of the address books show up
twice on the list. Yet when I check my list they only appear once.

Can anyone tell me how to delete the second occurrence of the address book.
It occurred after I add a new contact in the address book folder.

Thank you.

In the Address Book window, click ToolsOptions and remove the unwanted
Contacts folder there.

In the Address Book, when you click ToolsOptions, you should see an
Addressing tab with three fields. The top field is a drop down labeled
"Show this address list first". The second field is a drop-down labeled
"Keep personal addresses in". The third field is labeled "When sending
mail, check names using these address lists in the following order". In
that list you can select the folder you don't want and click Remove.

If that doesn't produce the desired results and you are using Outlook
2002/2003, in Outlook's main window click ToolsE-mail AccountsView or
change existing directories or adddress booksNext. Select Outlook Address
Book and click Change. Select the contacts folder you don't want and click
Remove Address Book.
