Default Using Numbers for Tickets

Hello
I am attempting to run a fund raiser and need to number tickets using
Publisher.I need to have a number on the stub, correspond and be the same
number on the buyer's ticket. Is there a way I can place a number in the
ticket and on the stub for the same ticket and have it number each as 1 to 1,
and then on in sequence 2 and 2 etc? Thanks for any help given on this matter

Create a data base with the numbers
Example he
Consecutive Numbering (2002, 2003)

Open the Catalog and Mail merge wizard, browse to your data, insert two text
boxes on your ticket where you want the numbers to go, from step 3 insert the
data.

For the merge to work, you can only have one ticket on your screen.
