Default ###### in form fields (Access 2007)

Hi all,

I have a problem with field sizes in forms, using Access 2007.

One of my applications is used by many users who use Access 2000 upto
Access 2007. From one of the Access 2007 users I received the complaint
that in several forms, a numerical value is shown as ######. I checked
this and found out that with long values, the value is shown as ######.
When I click in the field, I see the actual value.
When I use the same form and the same data in Access 2000, the
right-hand side of the value is shown (as wide as the field allows).

So my questions is: how can I modify this, that regardless the length of
the value, at least some figures are shown, and not jut ######.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Paul

From Allen Browne's article on 2007:

Option to show numbers as #### if column is too narrow (as Excel does.)
Configurable: Office Button | Access Options | Current Database | Check for
truncated number fields.

I assume you to use this to reverse the process.
