Default Missiing field

We have an old database where one field has gone missing.
If you check under design the field name is listed. But when you open the
table the field is missing.

Any ideas.

Try right clicking on the table, and check "unhide."

I think maybe someone has hidden the field. Open the
table, click on format, then click on unhide columns.
Hopefully your field will appear.

The width of the Column is probably has been set to zero and therefore
"hidden" in DatasheetView.

Try the Menu Format / Unhide Columns ...
