Outlook is Creating Duplicate Contacts with Edits
Everytime I made a modification to a contact, outlook seems to duplicate the
entry. What's strange is that the duplicate contact does not appear on my hotmail live account and only in outlook. I'm afraid to delete one of them since it may delete the one in hotmail live. Is anyone having similar problems? Jose |

After changing the contact, did you run a send/receive cycle? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Brian,
Yes they are part of the contact folder. I'm not sure what's a send/receive cycle. Jose "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: "Jose Escalante" wrote in message ... Yes it has cycled many times. I decided to open every contact and resave
them. Most have created a duplicate. After syncing with hotmail, some (not all) of the duplicated contacts have also updated in hotmail. So, some have duplicated. Of the duplicate some have uploaded as duplicates to hotmail. Jose "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: "Jose Escalante" wrote in message ... Yes they are part of the contact folder.
