Default Linking Excel to Word

Is there a way to Link an Excel file to a Word document
so that any changes that are made to the Excel file will
change also in the word document?

Method 1: Select and copy the range in Excel, switch to Word, Edit Paste
Special. Select Excel Worksheet object and check the 'Paste Link' checkbox.

Method 2: Use a LINK field. You can link to a whole sheet, a single cell, or
a named range.
