Not right. Explain what this "technie" told you to do so we can figure out

Outlook does not use a WAB.

OK - it is the same list in both programs. Is the file extension pst? Where

PST is the file extension, but I doubt that will help you. I assume your
Contacts all appear in the Contacts Folder correctly, right? If you open the Address Book in Outlook Express and look at Tools Options..., is sharing enabled? Contacts in outlook and Express address book are the same and sharing is

Then your Contacts are stored in your Outlook Contacts Folder which is being
used as the data source for your Windows Address Book as well. IMO provides no ability to repair the address book. Just in case you're still monitoring this thread, I had the same problem and
discovered it was a corrupt contact. I found it by deductive reasoning after several days of frustration. When the contact was opened the file name in the bar at the top of the window was "Unamed contact" where it would typically be the "display as" name. Hope this gives you a clue.
