Default How do I stop Check Names in Outlook? I have checked off the box

How do I stop Check Names in Outlook? I have checked off the box and it is
still happeneing. Then, when I hit cancle it kills the email. Thanks!

You checked what box in what Outlook version using what transport?
Also state more clearly the behavior you are seeing that you think you
shouldn't.

XP Sp 2, I do not have the box. On a different computer this is also
happening on 2007 B3

2. What mail transport
3. What is happening that you think shouldn't.

1) Under tools - options - email options - advanced - automatic name checking
2) Pop if that is what you mean
3) When outlook does not find an email address or name in the address book,
up pops a message box that says it cannot find the name. Choices then are to
cancle of discard. "Ok" is not lit up. If I hit cancle the program crashes
and the email is not sent.

Outlook does not do that even when automatic name checking is selected. All
Outlook requires is a valid address format. So I'll need the rest of the
story: how you are entering the address, its format, and what step triggers
the Check Names dialog. State whether your installation ever worked, and if
so when it stopped.
