Windows XP fax halts
When I try to send a fax to e.g. 10 contacts the faxing halts after having
sent the fax to one, two or three contacts. It seems that even if all looks OK in the send fax wizard, only the first couple of contacts appear in the outbox of the fax console. Any ideas about what the problem might be? |

Already answered in your previous thread. Windows XP Fax was not designed
for and does not support sending to multiple recipients. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "oyvind" wrote in message ... Windows XP fax halts
Well, I managed to send to 30 recipients yesterday without problems. But for
some reason it will not let me today... And if the Windows XP Fax was not designed for sending to multiple recipients, why do they write in the help file, quote "You can send a fax to single or multiple recipients."?? Help files are overly optimistic and rarely accurate. Anyone who has ever
used the Microsoft Fax modules knows full well that it is notoriously unreliable when it comes to sending to multiple recipients. No one I know would use it for that purpose. You should use a fax board and robust fax software. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "oyvind" wrote in message ... Well, I managed to send to 30 recipients yesterday without problems. OK, it seems like I have to give up using Windows XP Fax for what I want to
do. Any suggestions for programs that will do the job? "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Help files are overly optimistic and rarely accurate.
